Vance was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Diana G. Knowlton; and his father, Prentiss Knowlton.
Vance is survived by his children, Dustin Knowlton and Ashley Knowlton ( Thomas Moore); siblings, Patricia Harpe and Gregory (Nancy) Knowlton; as well as other family members and friends.
