On September 5, 2026, our family unexpectedly lost our beloved mother, Valerie Ann Weber, at the age of 54.
Valerie was a woman of strong faith who believed in God and spent much of her life doing things for other people. She had a kind heart and was the type of person who could be friends with everyone. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by so many people whose lives she touched.
Valerie had recently been hospitalized because of difficulty breathing. She was released from the hospital on August 24, 2026, after being treated for what was believed to be strep throat. Sadly, she passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on September 5.
Valerie leaves behind her daughter, Ashley (Steve Bergman) Weber, her two sons, Russell Schomburg, 16, and James Weber, 19, mother Theresa Madden, father Harry "Jim" Murphy and her siblings Ronald Murphy, Diana Fleming and Amanda Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wendell S. Weber and sister Brigette Murphy.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, support, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest peacefully, Valerie. You were loved, and you will never be forgotten. ❤️
A Celebration of Life will be held for Valerie on Saturday September 26, 2026 at The American Legion Post 675 (638 Watervliet Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420) starting at 3:00 pm.
Because her passing was so unexpected, our family was not prepared for the financial burden of funeral and final expenses. We are asking for help to give Valerie the funeral and farewell she deserves while allowing her children to focus on grieving and remembering their mom.
Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family. If you are unable to donate, sharing this obituary and keeping Ashley, Russell, James, and our family in your prayers would also be deeply appreciated.
