Valerie Christene Acree, age 24, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was born October 30, 1991 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Ike and Trisha Acree.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, James and Jonathan Acree.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Victoria McDonald; nieces, Tabytha, Chloe, Bella McDonald and Amber Acree; nephews, Liam McDonald, Cole and Wyatt Acree; grandparents, Carolyn and Gary Hilker, as well as numerous other family and friends.
Valerie was a graduate of Fairborn High School, Class of 2010 and a student of Sinclair Community College, as well as Wright State University. She was a world traveler and adventurer and fluent in several languages.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5750 Shull Rd., Huber Heights, OH 45424. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 1, 2016 also at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valerie and James Acree Memorial Fund through any Wright-Patt Credit Union location.
