Troy Lee Travis, born September 1, 1967, in Xenia, Ohio, passed away on May 7, 2026, in his hometown of Xenia. He was a devoted family man and a person who cherished the simple joys of life, especially the moments spent in the company of family and friends.
Troy’s enthusiasm for life was evident in his many interests and hobbies. He was an avid fan of football and NASCAR racing, often finding excitement in the thrill of the game and the roar of the race. Additionally, he had a fond appreciation for classic television, regularly enjoying reruns of M*A*S*H, which provided both entertainment and a connection to beloved memories.
Born and raised in Xenia, Troy developed strong roots in his community and maintained close relationships with those he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Shirley (Thomas) Travis, who laid the foundation for the values and love that Troy carried throughout his life.
Troy is survived by his wife, Haili Ackerman; children, Kaela Hart, Kyle (Ashley) Travis, Brittney Reynolds, Dakota Vanfossen, and Ryen Travis; grandchildren, Sean Hilt, Lilly Jarrells, Bransen Landers, Grayson Hart, and Colsen Landers, who brought joy to his later years. He also leaves behind his brother, Marc Travis; nieces, Jennifer, Ashley, Felicia, and Victoria; nephew, CJ; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who mourn his passing and celebrate his memory.
Troy Lee Travis will be remembered for his warm spirit and his dedication to family. His passion for enjoying life’s pleasures and creating meaningful moments with loved ones remains a lasting testament to the man he was.
