Tonia L. McDaniel

Tonia L. McDaniel passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on October 31, 1948.

Tonia will be remembered as one of the nicest and sweetest people anyone could ever meet. She loved her family deeply and found great joy in spoiling her grandchildren and her faithful companion, Dave. She was a generous person who was always trying to help anyone in need. A devout Christian, Tonia had a strong faith in God. She read her Bible every day and faithfully prayed for everyone on her prayer list. In the lives of those who knew her, she truly embodied the word love.

She also dedicated many years of her life to her work, retiring after 17 years at K-Mart.

Tonia is survived by her daughter, Malonie Bucher; and her son, Marcus McDaniel Jr. and Angie. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Wyatt Bucher and Sabrina Bucher, who brought her much happiness. She is also survived by her sisters, Toshia and Tami and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will miss her dearly. Tonia is also preceded in death by her husband, Marcus McDaniel; her mother, Helen Davidson; her father, Bobby Davidson; her brother, Cyril Davidson.

Tonia’s love, kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton.
