Toni Marie Sams

Toni Marie Sams, age 70 of Dayton, Ohio passed away at her residence on March 24, 2026. She was born October 28, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio. The daughter of the late Wilbur and Dorothy (White) Anthony Sr.

Toni Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a caregiver both professionally and personal for over 20 years. Toni Marie and her best friend, Yvonne had a passion for crafting, calling themselves "Crafty Grannies". Toni Marie's pride and joy was her family, the grand babies and her fur babies. She would do anything for anyone of them and then some. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Toni Marie was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilbur (Kaye) Anthony Jr., Danny (Patty) Anthony, and Jim Anthony.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dave Sams; daughters, Katie Cochran and Priscilla (Tommy) Ritchie; grandchildren, Jayden, Kayla, Robbie, Haley, and Damon; great grandchildren, Bryon, Kaylen, Connor, Liberty, Aspyn, Lincoln, and one on the way; nieces and nephews, Timi (Dudley), Tom, and Traci; great nieces and nephews, Tiana and Messiah "Peanut"; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45304. A memorial service will begin at 1:00pm.
