Tommy D. Pierce

Tommy D. Pierce, born on December 24, 1948, in Jamestown, Tennessee, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio.

A proud veteran, Tommy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, demonstrating bravery and commitment to his country. His service is a testament to his character and the values he held dear throughout his life. After serving, he spent many years working at General Motors. 

He had a deep passion for watching NASCAR and football, hobbies that brought him joy and excitement. Additionally, he enjoyed fishing, often finding solace in the calm of nature. 

He is survived by his daughters, Kellie Pierce and Kristie (Chris) Mathews; grandchildren, Ava and Lila Mathews; sister, Karon (Cliff) Brunner; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Charlotte (Hull) Pierce and his sister, Kathy Van Ausdal.

Tommy will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
