Todd N. O'Neal

Todd Nelson O'Neal of Dayton, Ohio also known by many as Tarishi Wa Upendo, was born on October 20, 1972; Parents Rosanna (O'Neal) Tate, Robert Maeder and Stepparent Kenneth P. Tate, Jr.

He will be missed by his daughters, Kayla O'Neal and Krystal O'Neal, (Mother LaVonya O'Neal-Robinson); siblings Tiffany (Ulysses)Lutz, Misteregna O'Neal, NurUllah O'Neal, Rana Tate and Immanuel Tate; Nieces Emily Tate-Wright and Donna Tate, Zoe (Alex) Miller and Lexie VanJohnson; Nephews Christian O'Neal and Elijah O'Neal; Aunts Beverly Ragland, Relda Ogleton, Leah (Eli) Turner, and Ruth Ann Maeder; Uncles Romondo (Betty) Maeder, Jeffrey Anderson and family, Eric Anderson and family; Cousins Crystal (Oliver) Harris and family, Dorothee (Phil) Auldridge, Mary (Tim) Oldham and family, Edna Nelson and family; and a host of special friends including Edward Dixon, Daniel Wilkinson and The Wilkinson Family.

Todd is proceeded in death by Grandparents Nelson and Mary O'Neal; Robert and Leah Maeder and aunts and uncles whom he loved dearly.

Todd was truly a family man and a devoted dad to his girls. A great friend to all, he never met a stranger. Always had a smile on his face, loved being outdoors and on his grill in any type of weather. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union and worked as an Operator at AK Steel for over 20 years as well as with other contractors in that field. He will truly be missed; may he rest peacefully.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10-12pm at Mt. Zion AOH Church, 12 College St., Dayton. Funeral Services will be private.
