Todd Matthew Mangeot, born on December 8, 1973, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on March 28, 2026, in Centerville, Ohio. He was a man whose life was marked by a rare combination of talent, devotion, and an unyielding zest for life.
Todd attended Belmont High School, and in his youth, he immersed himself in the joys of baseball and soccer. Todd's love for the outdoors led him to many camping adventures, where he found solace and freedom beneath open skies. His fascination with cars and skill in working on them was a testament to his hands-on nature and his deep appreciation for mechanical artistry.
As a respected Master Mason, Todd’s talent and dedication to this esteemed fraternity were well known and admired. Yet beyond these accomplishments, Todd was a man who truly lived life to the fullest, with a big heart that, though often kept quietly guarded, shone unmistakably to those closest to him. His love for his children was the hallmark of his life.
Todd’s loving family surrounds his memory and carries forward his legacy. He is survived by his children—Lindsey Mangeot (Tre'Von Bell), Matthew Mangeot (Allison Pollard) and Patrick Howard. He also leaves behind grandchildren—Theodore, Madeline, Mavis, and Olive—who brought joy and light into his later years.
His mother, Josephine Mangeot, continues to hold his memory close, while his four brothers, Paul Mangeot (Tarra), Andy Mangeot (Jonna), Chad Mangeot (Shawna) and Clarke Mangeot, will hold his memory close to their hearts. He is also survived by his friend and mother of his children, Holly Mays; as well as, his dear friend, Emilie Dymond.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Paul Mangeot.
Todd Matthew Mangeot’s presence was a gift to all who knew him—a man of quiet strength, tender love, and joyful living. Though his absence leaves a profound void, the warmth of his memory continues to inspire and uplift those he loved most. In remembering Todd, we honor a life well-lived and a heart forever treasured.
The family will be holding services for him at a later date.

“I’m Free…
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call.
I turned my back and left it all.I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at close of day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,ah yes these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life has been full, I’ve savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me.
God wanted me now; He set me free.”
