With heavy hearts and an ocean of love, we remember Tobias Finn O'Connor, affectionately known as Little Butch, Toby, Babes, Mr. Man & Toblerone, who graced our lives from August 17, 2025, until March 30, 2026. Though his time with us was all too brief, Little Toby displayed a remarkable determination that touched everyone around him.
From the moment he arrived, he was a strong-willed and stubborn little punk. His creativity shone brightly, a rare brilliance in such a tiny package, as he approached each day with amazement and wonder, watching the world with eyes wide open and a mind eager to learn. Little Butch showed the remarkable ability to accomplish anything he set his heart to, a testament to the strength and courage he carried within him.
He fought bravely against Hepatoblastoma, enduring treatments with a bravery beyond his months. Sadly, following a chemotherapy session, illness took hold, and this valiant little warrior succumbed despite his fierce fight.
Tobias leaves behind his loving parents, Michaela Holt and Connor Butt, whose boundless love and care surrounded him every moment. His sisters, Dustin-Jean and twin Annabelle, will forever cherish the memory of their little brother’s bright spirit. His grandparents, Kathy and John Butt, and Alecia Ford, along with his great-grandpa Craig Ford and great-grandma Elisa Smith, all held precious places in his life, bathed in shared love and tender moments. Tobias is also remembered fondly alongside his grandfather, Keith "Butch" O'Connor, who has gone before him.
Though Little Butch’s journey in this world was short, his story is one of unyielding heart, boundless curiosity, and an indomitable spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends, reminding us of the strength and love that define his brief but extraordinary life.
Family and friends are welcome to gather from 4:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where Tobias' Celebration of Life will begin at 5:00pm.
