Tina Marie Opt

Tina Marie (Freeze) Opt, age 67, of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly March 26, 2026. Tina was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 3, 1958, to Robert and Phoebe (Wraight) Freeze, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Greg of almost 42 years; three sisters, Robin C. Hays, Cathy L. Freeze, and Cyndi S. Freeze; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by numerous beloved dogs and cats that she rescued throughout her life.

Surviving her are dog, Avery and cat, Gilda.

She was a 1977 graduate of Patterson Co-Op High School. Tina recently retired from the Graphic Image, a business she helped build and shared with her husband. Besides volunteering for the animal rescue group SICSA over the years, Tina loved the water and vacations at lakes and beaches; where she would swim, kayak, and jet ski. Last year she fulfilled her dream of having a swimming pool built in her backyard, along with a she-shed.

Tina’s spirit, generosity, and energy will be missed. A pool party memorial will be held later in the year at Tina’s pool.
