Timothy F. Lavoie

Timothy F. Lavoie, age 64 of Centerville, passed away on Nov. 28 in the care of Hospice of Dayton after a long illness. He was born on June 27, 1961, in Waco, Texas.

He is proceeded in death by his life partner, Larry “Doug” Goley, and his parents, Robert Paul and Jeanne Marie (Gleeson) Lavoie.

Tim is survived by his brothers Steve (Laurie), Dennis (Kim) and Kevin (Donna); longtime friend John “Mike” Robsion; Aunts Ann Hartman and Dayna Gleeson; nieces Megan, Chelsea, Paige, Celia and Olivia; and nephews Jay and Robert.

Tim worked several jobs in his lifetime, most recently as a Unit Coordinator at Sycamore Hospital. He enjoyed gardening, watching movies, flying kites, playing with his dog (Lily) and celebrating holidays by making flower arrangements and special baskets for loved ones. Tim was a beloved friend, son and brother who will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg Centerville Road. Friends are encouraged to come and share fond memories of Tim. There will be no formal service.
