Thomas Anthony Sakalaskas, "Tom Sak", age 66 of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2021. He was born on July 19, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to Ernest and Ernestine Marie (Humphress) Sakalaskas.
Tom is survived by his children, Shawn C. Sakalaskas, Candace (Michael) Sakalaskas-Rovito and Mark J. (Jessica) Sakalaskas; two granddaughters, Joplin and Jolie Sakalaskas-Rovito; six siblings, Ron (Marsha) Sakalaskas, Elaine (Mike) Himes, Phyllis (John) Sharp, Jeff (Liz) Sakalaskas, Mark (Ethel) Sakalaskas and Scot (Janie) Sakalaskas; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Tom loved to fish, tinkered with toy planes and trains and was known in the community as a generous, helpful friend. He enjoyed camping and his Yorkie, Maxine. Tom loved spending time with his kids, family and friends. He loved his family and will be dearly missed by all.
A private family service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
