Thomas Martin Olding, "Tom," age 62, died peacefully Friday, May 8th, 2026 surrounded by love. Tom was born in 1963 to the late Joseph B. Olding Jr. and Loretta (Mai) Olding, in Covington, KY. He was raised in Cincinnati and Fairfield, Ohio. Tom enjoyed sports and excelled in baseball and softball as a youth and loved to play tennis with Lori throughout his adult life.
He married Lori Gramza in March of 1984 and they just celebrated their 42nd anniversary. They had 2 children, Jenny Olding (Jai) Holland and Randy (Amanda) Olding. They raised their children in Fairfield, Ohio and later moved to Bradenton, Florida and lived there for nearly 15 years. While in Florida, Tom worked for IMG Academy. They moved back to Ohio about 2 years ago.
He is survived by his 7 siblings, Joseph (Adriana) Olding III, Chris (Gary) Dooros, Mike (Debbie) Olding, Connie (Howie) Epstein, Becky (Tim) Vocke, Elaine (Mike) Osborne and Shelly Olding Ashcraft. He has 18 nieces/nephews and 41 great nieces/nephews on that side of the family.
He is predeceased by his in-laws, Mike and Janet Gramza. He is also survived by brothers/sisters-in-law, Jeff (Annie) Gramza, Shelly (Pete Keller) Gramza, Amy (Shawn) Minehart and 7 nieces/nephews.
Tom loved to work with his hands and could do just about anything related to the building trades. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He touched the lives of many people, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459). Please enter through the side entrance under the portico.
