Thomas Carl Kochel, age 72 of Huber Heights, passed away surrounded by his family on February 20, 2017. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Ralph and Delores Kochel in 1944. After graduating from high school, Thomas entered into the United States Army, where he honorably and proudly served 6 years. He later went on to marry Pam (Yates) Wissinger in 1983.
Thomas owned and operated his own financial planning and insurance business, Beneficial Marketing Concepts. He also published three books and wrote for the Pastor's Pulpit for 12 years. He was a member of Redemption Christian Tabernacle in Tipp City along with his family. Thomas enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time reading scripture and sharing The Message of God with others. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all who loved him.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Kurt Kochel and Ted Kochel.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving wife of 33 years, Pam Kochel; children, Holly (Steve) Zipfel, Jennifer (Mark) Smith, Carrie (Jason) Leach, Shelley Kochel, Jonathan (Erin) Wissinger, Sarah Kochel, and Zak (Ashley) Kochel; grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, Joshua, Jakob, Jenna, and Owen; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas' memory to his church, Redemption Christian Tabernacle.
