COX, Thomas E., 73, of Franklin, OH went to his heavenly home on March 1, 2018 following a long illness.
He was born and raised in Summers County, WV. He was the son of the late Fred & Martha Cox.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dreama Cox; son, Eric (Pam) Cox of Springboro; grandchildren, Amanda Rose, Justin (Courtney) Cox, Skylar Cox; special friends, Lawrence Alexander and Ginger Cox; brothers, Fred (Jane) Cox of Summers County, WV, Robert (Connie) Cox of Summers County, WV, Rick (Judy) Cox of Franklin, Randy (Diane) Cox of Summers County, WV; sister, Angela (Daniel) Yoney of Beckley, WV, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Rex and brother Norris Cox.
Thomas served in the Army for 4 years. He then went to work for Frasier Paper for 40 years.
He loved to work on the farm he was raised on. Some of the best times of his life were working on that farm. Watching things grow was a favorite past time of Tom's. He loved singing and gospel music. His motto in life was "love one another", and "if you say you're gonna do something, do it!" He was a man of great faith and attended Dixie Highway Christian Center.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 pm on March 6, 2018 at Highway Christian Center, 5287 S Dixie Hwy, Franklin, OH 45005. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on March 7, 2018 also at the church (Pastor Dave Bowlin,Roger Mullins, and Luke Ward officiating) with burial following at Springboro Cemetery.
