Thomas Andrew Lykins

Lykins, Thomas Andrew, age 66 of Miamisburg, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was born in Dayton in 1949 to the late Hubert and Lula Lykins. He retired from McCall's after many years of loyal service. He had a passion for studying the Word of God and practiced in word and deed throughout his life. He enjoyed cheering on his Cleveland Browns and was a life long fan. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother Philip Lykins. Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving wife of 21 years, Sheryl Lykins; children, Chastity Roark, Matthew Lykins, and Andrew Lykins; granddaughter, Stephanie Lykins; sister, Judy Muncy of Hyden, KY; brother, Hubert (Barb) Lykins, Jr. of Dayton; 3 nephews and 2 nieces; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Miamisburg Assembly of God, where the family will greet friends and loved ones for two hours prior, 11am-1pm. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final arrangements.
