Theodore (Tad) Adam Griffin, 56, of Centerville, OH, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026 at Austin Trace Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born September 7, 1970, in Bedford, OH, Tad was the son of Audrey (Picone) Griffin and the late James Lee Griffin. He is survived by his sister, Nina Spitler (Matthew), nieces - Chloe, Jami and Morgan, and nephew Griffin. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember him in their own special ways.
Tad spent much of his professional life in the restaurant management industry in Cleveland and Dayton, OH. He spent many years as a Computer Technician before turning to a particularly meaningful chapter of his life at Covenant Animal Clinic, which introduced him to a new love of animals. The relationships he formed there and the connection he developed with the staff and animals made this job a special part of his life.
Known for his humor and sarcastic wit, Tad had a personality that made him unforgettable to those who knew him. He enjoyed cooking and found joy in preparing his favorite creations with those around him. He loved gaming with friends and was always available to lend a helping hand where needed.
He will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May the memories, laughter, and moments shared bring comfort to those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life memorial for family and friends will follow.
