Terri Lee McIntosh, born on November 19, 1954, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Kettering, Ohio. The loving matriarch of her family, Terri’s warmth and vibrant spirit touched the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know her.

Terri's life journey was marked by her education at Belmont High School in Dayton, where she not only cultivated her academic strengths but also formed lasting friendships. Following her studies, she embarked on a fulfilling career in retail at JC Penney, further proving her strong work ethic. She was a tenacious woman, unyielding even in the face of pain, always pushing through to take care of those around her.

As a proud mother, she found her greatest accomplishments in her family. She is survived by her beloved children, Heather Kreitzer and Angela (Michael) Gill. Her legacy continues to flourish through her grandchildren, Ashley McIntosh, Breanna Kreitzer, Dakota Estepp, Kiana Howard, and Skye Turnbull, alongside her fifteen great-grandchildren who brought an abundance of joy into her life. Her sister, Linda Marsh, also remains to honor her memory, carrying forward the love and resilience that Terri exemplified.

Terri had a personality that was both sweet and steadfast. She loved to laugh and had no trouble expressing her thoughts, often with a delightful lack of filter. Those close to her knew her famous antics, such as pinching butts—an endearing expression of affection, much to the amusement (and occasional chagrin) of her family. She shared whimsical moments with her daughter Angie, creating random snow angels in the yards of unsuspecting friends, and enjoyed countless late-night phone calls with her granddaughter Ashley, moments treasured for their intimacy and joy.

Her hobbies reflected her zest for life, as she immersed herself in gardening, nurturing flowers that mirrored her vibrant personality. Crossword puzzles and bingo became pastimes that showcased her cleverness, while online games and social media brought her closer to family and friends alike, building connections that transcended distance.

Terri is reunited in eternity with her parents, Mildred Shamblin and Edward Leiffer, and her dearly departed sister, Sue Gibson, as well as her brother, David Leiffer, and granddaughter, Kierra Howard, whose absence will be deeply felt in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A graveside service to celebrate Terri's life will be held at 12:00 pm on September 30, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of this beautiful soul, whose love and laughter will echo in their hearts forever.
