Terrance "Joe" Gier II, a beloved figure known for his infectious spirit and profound love for life, was born on April 12, 1969, in Dayton, Ohio. He unexpectedly departed from this world on December 9, 2024, leaving a vibrant legacy of memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Joe was truly the life of the party, with a personality that could light up any room. His feisty demeanor and outspoken opinions made him a memorable presence among friends and family. Joe was known not only for his lively spirit but also for his deep passion for music; he would often drag his family up on stage to sing karaoke with him, creating moments of joy and laughter that will resonate in their hearts forever.
In addition to his love of karaoke, Joe was an avid dart player and a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football games. His enthusiasm for these hobbies further showcased his spirited nature and vibrant personality.
Joe is survived by his loving son, Codye (Ashtyn) Gier; his cherished daughter, Rebekka (Adam) Bradley; his step-son, Jason Tipton; and his grandchildren, Killian Gier, Thea Gier, and Blake Bradley. He is also remembered by his brother, Jason Gier, and numerous nieces and nephews who shared countless memories and adventures with him.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Terrance Joseph Gier I; his mother, Irene Gier; and his brother, Jamie Gier. Their love and influence profoundly shaped Joe's life, and he is now reunited with them.
As we remember Joe, let us hold onto the laughter, warmth, and love he shared so generously. May his spirit continue to inspire and bring joy to those who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 12:30-1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 1:30pm. Joe will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
