Teresa J. Wonderly (Terri), age 72, of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away May 18th at home with her partner, Steve Weitthoff, by her side.
Terri graduated from Wayne High School in 1974. She spent her next 20 years in various positions in law offices with one of her highlights was working for Honorable Walter H. Rice from 1981-1986. Honor Rice called her "Terri the Wonder". She went on and worked at Wright State University, Ellis Institute. All the while, working part time at Target Huber Heights.
Terri had a few true love activities; first, she was an avid quilter which she kept JoAnn fabrics in business as long as she could. She quilted many years and hours. Second, was the Halloween camp out at Indian Lake where she would single handedly bring all of her loved ones together for a few days around the campfire. She also enjoyed the monthly Euchre feast once a month with great friends. She was also president of the Dayton Backgammon Assoc. until Covid hit, which was another group of friends.
Teresa fell in love with the Weitthoff family supporting my son, Travis; his wife, Tara; and kids, Lyla, Brooks, Duke and Briella. We did trips to Ocean City, NJ, North Carolina, Florida, Colorado and most recently to Orange Beach, Alabama.
Terri was also so proud of Richard (Dick) and his son, Mason. She always looked to Dick for support.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maragret and Donald Wonderly.
She is survived by brothers, Mike Wonderly, Robert Wonderly and Richard Wonderly.
Condolences and memories can be left in the Guestbook below.
Thanks to the Dayton Hospice, Deb, for all their assistance.
