Teri’s life was filled with compassion, warmth, and unwavering love for her family, friends and animal companions.

Teresa Louise Jackson, affectionately known as Teri, passed away peacefully at her home on August 11, 2026, with her devoted partner Gary Mixell by her side. Born on December 18, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, Teri’s life was filled with compassion, warmth, and unwavering love for her family, friends and animal companions. 

Throughout her seventy years, Teri’s life was anchored by an enduring commitment to her loved ones, and she will be remembered for her giving spirit and a ready smile that brought comfort and joy to all.

Teri is survived by her beloved son, Samuel Jackson (Katie), and cherished daughter, Brooke Lambert (Travis). She was the proud grandmother of Oliver Jackson, Alexis Lambert, Tristan Lambert, and Marilin Granados, whose lives were enriched and inspired by her kindness and enduring love. Her children and grandchildren were a source of immeasurable pride and joy throughout her life.

Her memory also lives on through many who called her friend. Teri’s influence extended beyond her immediate family, touching many more with her generosity and empathy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Peter J. Cline; her mother, Louise Cline; her brother, Peter A. Cline; her niece, Julie Cline; her nephew, Andy Cline; and her niece, April Gordon. The loss of these cherished family members was deeply felt by Teri yet she carried their memories with her throughout her days, embodying the love and legacy they imparted.

A visitation to honor and remember Teri will be held on August 30, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Centerville, Ohio, located at 820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459. This will be followed by a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m., also at Newcomer Funeral Home.

Teri’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Yet, her legacy of love, kindness, and the spirit with which she approached life will continue to inspire and uplift those she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
