Tej Kaur Dhaliwal, a loving and devoted matriarch, peacefully passed away at her home on February 14, 2026, just one day shy of her 88th birthday, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on February 15, 1938, in Ludhiana, India, Tej's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to those she loved.

Tej devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mom, taking exceptional care of her family. Her home was a haven of love, laughter, and warmth, where she created countless cherished memories. Tej was renowned for being the best cook, delighting her loved ones with her culinary skills. Her meals were a wonderful blend of flavors and traditions, a reflection of her beautiful spirit both inside and out.

Her personality radiated kindness and love, making her the best grandmother ever. She embodied simplicity and grace, nurturing her family with profound care and understanding. Tej found joy in the little things; she had a green thumb, spending hours tending to her beloved garden, and relished the time spent with her family, often gathering to share stories and laughter. Her love for watching soap operas added a humorous layer to her simple yet fulfilling life.

Tej is survived by her daughter, Jasvir (Sukhminder) Singh, her grandchildren, Tarandeep Kaur, Kamaldeep Kaur, and Sukhdeep Singh. She was also a proud pet owner, finding joy in her beloved cats, alongside many other family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Preceding her in death were her father, Bahadur Singh, her mother, Bachan Kaur, and her husband, Dharshan Singh. Their memories will continue to live on through the love and values she instilled in her family. Tej Kaur Dhaliwal leaves behind a legacy of love that will resonate with all who knew her.

A service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
