Ted Manns, age 70 of Vandalia, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Ralph T. Manns in 2002; son, Todd W. Manns in 2013; and granddaughter, Tara Manns in 2000.
He is survived by his mother, Naomi Manns; daughters, Julie L. and Kimberly D. Manns; son, Douglas Manns; sisters, Darleen Mills and Dorthea I. Ritter; brothers, Rick M. and Paul H. Manns; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 ex-wives, Patty of Indiana and Patty of Arizona.
Ted served in the U.S. Navy and loved the outdoor life. He loved to hunt and fish and he loved dogs. Ted always had a dog in his life until his last dog Tessa died.
He will truly be missed by many.
