Ted W. Kendrick, age 63, of Vandalia, passed away on September 27, 2024 and was reunited with the love of his life, Leslie in Heaven. He was born on January 10, 1961 to the late Homer & Edna Kendrick.

Ted was a huge Cincinnati Bengal's fan, and he would either go to the games or watch them on TV. His famous tag line was "Who Dey think gonna beat them Bengal's? The Refs!" If he wasn't watching The Bengals, he was either fishing, shooting pool, or spending time with his beloved grandchildren. 

In addition to his wife, Leslie, Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Edna & Homer Kendrick, and his father-in-law, Hence Mitchell Jr.

He is survived by his children: Shannon & Brock Kendrick, Jeremy & Shiann Kendrick and Brittany & Keith Kendrick-Fields; grandchildren: Katelynn, Ethan, Eli, Lily "boo boo kitty", Kenny, Ally "goofy Lucy", Colin, Clayton William, Lane "little man", Chase, Leo, Jaxson and two more on the way; siblings: Janet & Dave Rankin and Sheryl & Tom Fields; mother-in-law, Coney Mitchell-Carter; sister-in-law: Liesha & Ralph Richardson and Paige & Todd Moore; nieces & nephews: Craig Osman, Tiffany Osman, Brandy Rankin, Danielle & Felix Lopez, Tashina Abrams, Allen Richardson, Brandon & Erica Richardson, Erica & Evan Stull, Caci & Jay Holden and Adam Moore; great-nieces & great-nephews: Dalton, Austin, Jocelyn, Blake, Brooklyn, Amora, Jailynn, Amaraya, Carter, Brooklynn & Briana, Dominick & Wesley, Rhett and Rowan; his pool buddies, Steven Abner, Randy Siegler "Yak", Chuck Cunningham; Luke Williamson, who was like a second son to him; and many extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the medical teams at Kettering Hospital for the care they provided.

A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Following the service, he will be laid to rest with Leslie at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
