Tammy Slivinski, a beacon of warmth and unwavering determination, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and tireless dedication. Born on March 14, 1958, Tammy’s life was a vibrant tapestry filled with ceaseless energy and a heart full of love.
For 42 years, Tammy dedicated herself to government service, where her commitment and work ethic were evident to all who knew her. Even after retiring, she remained a vibrant soul — always smiling and never settled, she was a whirlwind of activity who never let a moment go to waste. Her knack for striking up conversations and making friends easily was a testament to her open spirit and genuine kindness. She could never sit still, always finding new interests and ways to fill her time.
Beyond her professional life, Tammy’s passions brought her much joy. She delighted in playing online games like Mahjong and Solitaire, moments of calm amid her busy days. Most importantly, she cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren — moments she embraced fully and held close to her heart.
Tammy is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of nearly 40 years, Willard Slivinski Sr., and her son, Shaun Castle, along with his wife Rachel. She was also a cherished stepmother to Willard Jr., Paul, and Tiffany. Her family circle extended to numerous grandchildren and a beloved great-grandchild. Many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raymond and Wanda Castle; her sister, Linda; and her stepmother, Joyce. Though they have gone before her, Tammy’s spirit, her laughter, and her unmistakable smile remain forever in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
Tammy Slivinski’s life was a beautiful reminder that joy is found in connection, and that an indomitable spirit can light the way for generations. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her to embrace each day with determination, kindness, and a smile.
