Tammy Denise Isaacs

Tammy Denise Isaacs, (maiden name: Crow), passed away on September 21, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 14, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio, and will be remembered as a sweet and caring woman whose happy, fun spirit brought warmth to those around her.

Tammy loved her family deeply, and that love shaped the life she lived each day. She was a great mom, steady in her devotion and generous in her care. She loved to travel, enjoyed shopping, and found her greatest joy in her grandchildren, who were truly her pride and joy. The happiness she carried so naturally was felt most fully in the company of those she loved.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Ray Isaacs. She is also survived by her daughter, Stephanie Castleman and her husband, Tony; her sons, Matt Cantrell and his wife, Kaitlyn, and Drew Cantrell and his wife, Brittany. Her family continued to be a source of deep pride in her life through her grandchildren, Madisyn, Kaelyn, Keira, Caleb, Leland, and Christian. Tammy is also survived by her mother, Linda Hoover; her sister, Tina James and her husband, Douglas; her father-in-law, Butch Isaacs; and her brothers-in-law, Mark Isaacs and Randy Isaacs; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved pup, Rufus. Each of them shared in the love, laughter, and closeness that meant so much to her, and her memory will remain a lasting part of their lives.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Crow; her father, Kenneth Crow; and her mother-in-law, Mary Isaacs.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, 1340 South Dixie Drive, Vandalia, Ohio 45377.

Tammy’s life was marked by love, kindness, and the simple joys she shared so freely with others. She will be missed dearly and remembered always.
