Tammy Lee Hawk, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away with the love of her life, Charles Hawk, by her side on September 1, 2026, at the age of 60. She was born on July 2, 1966, in Orange County, California.
Tammy will be remembered as a caring and selfless woman who always put others before herself. She cared deeply about people, and the love she gave so freely was felt most strongly within her family. She adored her children, treasured time with her grandchildren, and found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including coloring and listening to music. Above all, what Tammy loved most was her family, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 34 years, Chuck Hawk. She is also survived by her children, Ashley (Joshua Brummit) Hawk, Misty Hawk, Angel (Reggie Ali) Miles, and Cory Smith. Tammy is further survived by her mother, Victoria Webb; her sister, Samantha (Jeffrey Brown) Proffitt; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. Each of them shared in the love, care, and devotion that Tammy gave throughout her life, and her memory will remain a lasting part of their hearts.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Webb; brother, Michael Webb; and mother-in-law, Marjorie Hawk.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin there at 10:30 a.m. on September 15, 2026. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Woodland Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45409.
Tammy Lee Hawk will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the kindness she showed to others every day. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to bring comfort to those who loved her.
