Suemi Fisher, age 58, of Jamestown (formerly of Okinawa), passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2025. Suemi was born in Minami, Daito Island on June 3, 1967 to the late Eisho and Kyoko Yohen.

Suemi was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by husband of 32 years, Anthony "Tony" Fisher; daughter, Nicole (Zach) Fisher; son, James Boyington, III; as well as her siblings, Miyako Hashikawa, Satoko Maeda, Kyomi Suzuki, Chieko Yohen and Minoru Yohen.

Suemi was an exceptional foreman and dedicated Starbucks Professional, recently acknowledged for her 10th year of service.

She was a member of Okinawa Tomono Kai of Ohio for many years. Suemi was a former member of the Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko, Ohio Branch.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her Island Girls, friends and family.

Suemi was always full of energy and compassion. She was loving, caring, funny and always put others before herself.

Suemi was a great wife, mother, sister and the best of a friend.

There will be a Celebration of Life held from 1:30pm-5:30pm at Polen Farm (5099 Bigger Rd, Kettering 45440) on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
