Steven Michael Weakley

Steven Michael Weakley, age 60, passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2026.

Steven attended Wayne High School as part of the Class of 1984. He dedicated more than 25 years of service to ABF Freight before retiring in 2025.

Steven had a laugh you could hear from a mile away and a smile that made everyone feel loved. He gave the best hugs and was always unapologetically himself. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed attending car shows, playing dice and dominoes, and listening to music on his stereo.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Barbara (Smith) Weakley, and his sister, Kim Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Cheryl Tubbs; his daughter, Brittany Marte Woods; his niece, DraShauna Weakley; his nephew, Brandon Jones (Katie); his great-nieces, Makayla Weakley and Mariah Jones; his great-nephew, Davion Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

A memorial service celebrating Steven's life will be held at a later date. Service details will be announced by the family once arrangements have been finalized.
