Steven Warner

Steven Randall Warner, age 68, of Franklin, Ohio, went to join our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to reunite with his loving wife, Elizabeth Warner (Triplett) on September 23, 2026. He was surrounded by his family in Dayton, Ohio and passed peacefully after experiencing a difficult battle with post back surgery complications.

He is survived by his three children, Sarah Warner of Columbus, Ohio, Leah Warner Meyer of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Zachary Warner of Franklin, Ohio as well as his siblings Janet Yeazel (Warner) of Lebanon, Donald Warner of Maineville, and Larry Warner of Beavercreek and his nieces and nephews: Kristofer Stonecipher, Kyle Stonecipher, Brittany Heugel (Triplett), Paige Triplett, TJ Triplett, Katrina Steele (Yeazel), David Morris, Brooke Warner, John Warner, Amy West (Ellis), Amber Warner, Brittany Warner, Kara Tittle (Warner), Dustin Warner, and Chad Taylor.

Steve also left behind six fur grandchildren: Baby Danzig Warner, Charlie Warner-Meyer, Cinnamon Warner-Meyer, Penny Warner-Meyer, Jhett Warner-Meyer, Fern Warner-Meyer, and Gracie Warner-Meyer. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Elizabeth Warner (Triplett), his mother, Bethel Warner (Spence), his father, John Warner, his sisters Anita Charlene Newsome (Warner) and Karen Taylor (Warner), his niece Shawny Spence (Morris), and his four fur grandchildren, Sky Warner-Meyer, Melvin Warner-Meyer, Pablo Warner-Meyer, and Daisy Warner-Meyer.

Steve grew up in South Lebanon, OH and graduated from Kings High School in 1976. He was a lover of sports, especially baseball, softball, and football. Steve was an active softball player himself until his mid to late 30s, often playing in leagues with his friends that he considered more like brothers over all the years. They won multiple state titles in the ‘80s and ‘90s which Steve proudly displayed in his home.

A lover of unions and history, he was a hardworking family man and a proud member of the UAW while working at Ford Motor Company since 1999. In his spare time, he loved watching the Buckeyes and Reds, playing euchre, listening to music, and scratching lottery tickets after grabbing a fresh Polar Pop on his way home from work.

A man of few words, but many names, his friends and coworkers often referred to him as Wally B. World or Bubby. He was never a fan of Steve-O, though. His humor will be missed by all that he shared it with.

Visitation will occur Friday, October 2, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with the funeral beginning at 12:00 PM at New Vine Community Church, 4900 OH-123, Franklin, OH 45005.

Graveside burial will occur following the funeral at Woodhill 6228 Hamilton-Middletown Rd., Franklin, OH 45005. A meal will be provided back at the church following the burial for family and close friends.
