Steve O. Tyson

Steve Oliver Tyson, age 58 of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away suddenly on April 27, 2026. He was born April 22, 1968 in Toledo, Ohio. The son of the late Henry and Mary Jane (Mitchell) Tyson Sr.

Steve was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a graduate of Rogers High School of Toledo, Ohio. He had a career for over 30 years in Trucking. Steve was a supporter of the Oral Roberts Ministry. He was a sports car enthusiast and enjoyed going to car shows. Steve loved bringing laughter and a smile to those around him. Steve was a very proud and loyal man. His pride and joy was his family and spending as much time with them as he could. Steve will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Tyson.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nicole Howe; children, Ryan Howe and Olivia Tyson; granddaughter, Rosemary Howe; siblings, Henry Tyson Jr., Jose Tyson, and Lisa Tyson; a host of nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and close friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 2pm.
