Stephen M. Short, age 69, passed away October 17, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and will miss him more than words can express.

Steve shared 45 years of life with his beloved wife, Becky. A proud father to his son, Sheldon, and daughter-in-law, Amy. He was also a loving grandfather to three beautiful granddaughters, Alyssia, Halley, and Ahna, and his buddy, grandson, Sebastian, who brought special joy to his life.

Steve's life was part of a much larger story filled with family, love, and memories that will continue to live on through those closest to him.

Celebration of Life

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Steve's life on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at:

Huber Heights, Ohio

11:00 AM - Meet with the family

12:00 PM - Celebration of Life service

Following the service - Lunch will be served for family and friends.

The family welcomes everyone to join them in remembering Steve, sharing stories, and celebrating the life of a man who will always hold a special place in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Rest peacefully, Steve.
