Stephen Michael Gray

Stephen Michael Gray, age 67 of Kettering, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital South. He was born December 9, 1957 in Dayton. He graduated from Stebbins High School and earned his Associates degree from Sinclair College. Stephen went on to have a 45 year long career as an industrial electrician working for several different industrial companies. He had a strong interest in Ohio History, especially Dayton History which led him to volunteer at Carillon Park. He used to love fishing with his kids while they were young and he had an enduring appreciation for nature and animals. Stephen enjoyed the company of several dog companions throughout his life. He was very handy and could fix anything. What made him the happiest was family and being a dad and grandpa was his greatest joy. His family and friends will cherish their memories of Stephen and he will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his Brother, Lawrence "Butch" Gray, and Mother, Ellen Gale Gray.

Stephen is survived by his Wife of 44 years, Lori Gray Two Sons, Curtis M. (Emily) Gray, Jeremy P. (Katie) Gray; Two Grandsons, Corbin Gray, Malcolm Gray; Six Brothers, Jeffry (Jodi) Gray, Tim (Carol) Henry, Todd (Kim) Henry, Scott (Eliza) Roney, Greg Gray, Jeff (Leigh Ann) Homewood; Father, Lawrence P. Gray; and by numerous other family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439).
