Stephaun Lamarr Williams

Stephaun Lamarr Williams, a beacon of joy and brilliance, was born on October 25, 1994, in Dayton, Ohio. He left this world too soon on January 5, 2026, but in his short time here, he left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Stephaun was not only a top scholar, graduating with distinction from Belmont High School in 2014, but he was also a force of nature, embodying an infectious spirit that drew people into his world.

With a laugh that could light up a room and a humor that was both clever and warm, Stephaun loved life deeply. He had a profound dedication to his family, the center of his universe, particularly his beloved mother, Robin Hackett. Their bond was a testament to unconditional love and unwavering support, a relationship that encompassed laughter, understanding, and countless cherished moments.

Despite his challenges—being autistic—Stephaun was often hailed as a genius, an acknowledgment that reflected not just his intellectual prowess, but the unique perspectives he shared with those around him. He embraced life with curiosity, demonstrating remarkable insights that transcended conventional understanding.

In addition to his academic achievements, Stephaun reveled in a host of hobbies that filled his days with delight. He was an avid football fan, passionately supporting the Cincinnati Bengals with fervor that ignited camaraderie among family and friends. His cinematic pursuits showcased his heart, particularly his love for fantasy and magic found in the Harry Potter series and the enchanting worlds created by Disney. Selena Gomez's music resonated with him, weaving its way into his life’s soundscape, a fitting backdrop for his adventures.

Stephaun is deeply missed by his surviving family: his siblings—DeVead Hackett, Kelvin Hodge Sr., Patricia Hackett, Kahshan Williams, Johnnie Williams, and Jonathan Williams—who will forever cherish the love and laughter he brought into their lives. Special nephew Kelvin Hodge Jr., along with many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of extended family members and friends, carry the memories of Stephaun's spirited presence close to their hearts.

His father, Johnnie Williams; uncle, David Hackett; aunt, Joann Parham; and grandparents, JW and Patricia Hackett preceded him in death. Although sorrow may dim the light he brought to our lives, Stephaun’s legacy has ensured that his memory will be forever celebrated. The world is a little less bright without him, but his laughter and love will echo in our hearts, reminding us of the beautiful soul that Stephaun was.
