Stephanie Marie Woods

Stephanie Marie Woods, of Dayton, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 25, 2026, in her hometown, surrounded by her loving family. She was 46.

Born on November 3, 1979, Stephanie carried with her a quiet spirit and a steady warmth that made a lasting impression on those who knew her. She graduated from Stebbins High School in 1998 and went on to work as a librarian with Dayton Metro Library, a role well suited to her thoughtful nature and love of words.

Stephanie was an amazing mom, laid back in spirit and deeply devoted at heart. She loved her family dearly, and much of her life’s meaning was found in the closeness she shared with them. She also found joy in the things that reflected her gentle and personal way of moving through the world: going to concerts, writing, and listening to Pearl Jam and Tori Amos. She loved animals, especially her cats, whose companionship brought her comfort and happiness.

Stephanie was a remarkably strong woman. She showed her family what resilience and strength worn with grace looked like.

She leaves behind her children, Jay (Kylee Warner) Lattimer, Jeremy Lattimer, Cody (Ariana Coates) Lattimer, and Destiny (Austin Alexander) Lattimer, who were the center of her life and the enduring pride of her heart. In them, her love, care, and quiet strength will continue to be carried forward.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Woods, and her father, Steven Woods.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Dayton Memorial Park, 8135 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414.

Stephanie will be remembered for her gentle presence, her love of family, and the calm, caring way she met the world. Her memory will remain close to all who loved her.
