Stephanie E. Hancock

Stephanie E. Hancock, born March 11, 1977, passed away unexpectedly on September 14, 2026.

Stephanie was a 1995 graduate of Bellbrook High School. In her younger years, she loved to swim and took part in many sports, and during high school she was a cheerleader. She later completed cosmetology school and worked for a time as a nail technician. After moving to Georgia, she spent many years designing kitchens for Home Depot and independent contracting companies, where she found great success. In more recent years, she turned her talents to jewelry design and built a successful jewelry-making business. Stephanie had a truly creative mind, and she found joy in making art and sharing what she created with others. Stephanie also had a love for animals which showed in the care she gave her many pets over the years.

Above all, Stephanie loved her children deeply. Her warmth and care were felt in the simple, tender way she greeted them, always answering the phone with, “Hi Honey. How are you?” That loving spirit will remain a lasting memory for those who knew her.

Stephanie is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Nye and her husband, Drake, Victoria Hancock and her husband, Isaac, and Kate Engelman; by her son, Troy Engelman; and by numerous family members and friends who will continue to cherish her memory.
