Stella Morrow

Morrow, Stella age 93, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. She was born in Estill County, Kentucky on January 9, 1926 to the late Thomas and Mollie Alcorn (nee Hisle).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Morrow; sisters, Dorothy Hedding, Lillie Caldwell, Addie Durbin, and Bessie Reader; and brothers, Clayton, Raymond, Cecil, Melvin, Troy, and Hargis.

Stella is survived by her sister, Laura Harper; sons, Charles (Terry) Morrow, James (Donna) Morrow, and Terry (Brenda) Morrow; grandchildren, Tina (David) Townsend, Charles Morrow Jr., Joanna (Mike) Kennedy, Greg Peterson, Missy (Justin) Mills, and Mitchell (Elle) Bilotta; great-grandsons, David Townsend, William Guzman, James and Tyler Kennedy; great-great-grandson, Elliott; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

Stella was a woman of great faith, nothing meant more to her than her family, particularly her sons. She loved her family gatherings and looked forward to having everyone together. Stella's favorite saying was "things will always work out they just might not work out the way you want." She was a strong willed person that handled things her way. She always had a kind word and a smile for those she loved. Stella was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by Funeral Ceremony at 12:00 pm. Stella will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45409.
