Stella Ann Mayton

Stella Ann Mayton, born on February 4, 1947, in Combs, Kentucky, passed away on November 4, 2025, in Beavercreek, Ohio. She was a proud graduate of Stebbins High School and began her career as a Jeweler with Abell's Jewelry in Dayton. Her hard work and dedication eventually led her to become the owner of the business, where she touched the lives of many with her craftsmanship.

Stella was known for her caring nature, sensitive humor, and at times, her honery spirit. She had a warm smile and an infectious laugh, making everyone around her feel appreciated. A former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in New Carlisle, she loved being part of a community that shared her values and interests.

Stella leaves behind her loving daughter, Danna (Jerry Clendenen) Hoskins; her grandson, Grayson (Diana Clark) Hoskins; and her dear sister, Lisa (Tom) Staggs. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephew: Amber (Dusty) Janes, Shana (Craig) Mason, Marya Wall, and Tanner (Kyla) Hoskins. Stella shared a special bond with her long-time companion, Joe Shoemaker, and her best friend, Patty, who were important parts of her life.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Harron and Helen Hoskins, and her brother, Bill Hoskins. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
