Sigrid Smith, of Miamisburg passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2017.
Sigrid was born August 26, 1941 in Trier, Germany to the late Berhard & Ludia Geier. Over the years, Sigrid & Charlie enjoyed traveling to her home country.
She was preceded in death by her cousin, Gerhardt Loffler-who was more like a brother.
Sigrid is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Charles "Charlie" Smith; son, Marc (Heather) Volkenand; stepdaughter, Traci Smith; grandchildren, Ryan Volkenand, Taylor Breese and Zack Breese; sister, Erica (Joseph) Blausius; very special niece, Anja Bardey; and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
