Shirley Ann Sanford

Shirley Ann Sanford, age 82 of Medway, reunited with her husband, Coleman Ray Sanford on December 27, 2017. She was born on July 27, 1935 in Dayton, OH to the late James and Elizabeth (Gallagher) Mullins. In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her wonderful son, David Ray Sanford; wonderful daughter, Deborah Lynn Sanford; sister, Marilyn Lloyd and brother, James Mullins.

She is survived by her loving sister, Sandra (Joe) Adrian; grandchildren, Angela Poling, Shawn Sanford, Justin Martin and Jason Martin; great-grandchildren, Deanna Sanford and Ryan Sanford; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Sanford-Bowling and numerous extended family members and friends.

Shirley worked as a waitress at Rikes Department Store for 25 year in the downtown Dayton location. She was a faithful member of Vandalia Baptist Temple.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 3 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
