Shirley M. Roselle

Shirley M. Roselle, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, in Miamisburg, Ohio, at the age of 94. Born on September 18, 1930, in Dayton, Ohio, Shirley was a vibrant soul known for her infectious smile and warmth.

Throughout her life, Shirley dedicated herself to her career with fervor. She worked at NCR, Top Value, and Meijer, where she left a lasting impression on her colleagues with her dedication and cheerful disposition. Shirley was also a life-long Avon lady, a role she embraced with pride and enthusiasm, forming connections with countless individuals along the way.

In her leisure time, Shirley found joy in watching her favorite television shows, including "Chicago Fire," "Family Feud," and "The Ed Sullivan Show," particularly on Sunday nights when friends and family knew not to call. These cherished moments brought her happiness and were a testament to her vibrant personality.

A woman of remarkable stamina and spirit, Shirley remained active well into her 90s, still driving and managing her daily activities with remarkable independence. Her proudest accomplishments lay not only in her professional life but also in the bonds she nurtured with her loved ones.

Shirley is survived by her son, Steve Roselle, and her daughter, Susie Roselle. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Daryl (Billie) Miniard, Kelly (Doug) Chubb, and Kari (Mike) Jalbert, as well as her great granddaughter, Cora Chubb. Her memory will be held dear by her sister, Mary Roepken, her dear friend, Allison, and numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Squirt" Roselle; her son, Raymond Roselle; her daughter, Catherine Miniard; her parents, Walter and Luella Tate; and her granddaughter, Stephanie Roselle.

Family will received guests from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.  Shirley will be laid to rest next to her husband at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. 

Shirley's legacy is one of love, joy, and a commitment to family and friends that will never be forgotten. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her and were fortunate enough to experience her unyielding positivity and nurturing nature.
