Shirley Ann Lowe

Shirley Ann Lowe, age 91, of Dayton, passed away on September 21, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1933 to the late Dora Palmer & Howard Dyke. 

She was a beloved grandmother, mother and caretaker. She was feisty and full of love. She took care of everyone, and was everyone's "Nanny". Shirley loved spending time with her family and cooking for everyone. She also loved animals, enjoyed being outside, spending time with Larry, and her dog, Oreo. Her love and caring presence will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge "Gene" Lowe; her children: Diana K. Cockerham, Robert "Bobby" E. Beeghly Jr., Janet E. Pohl and Tim R. Beeghly; and grandson: Robert E. Darner.

Her memory will be cherished by her 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, along with many more family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, with her service beginning at 1:30pm. Following the service, Shirley will be laid to rest with Talmadge at Woodland Cemetery.
