Shirley L. Moore

Shirley L. Moore, age 83 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 22, 2024. She was born April 21, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Herbert and Marjorie "Ruth" McAfee. 

Shirley was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful member of Calvary Open Bible Church for many years. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. 

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Moore; son, George Krepps; aunt, Martha Hanshaw; and cousin, Tom Zimmerman.

She is survived by her son, Philip Slade; grandsons, Cody Slade and Aaron "A.J." Slade; step-son, Mike (Laura) Moore; special cousin, Sherry Zimmerman; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11am at Dayton Memorial Park with Rachel Kuhn's officiating. Family and friends can meet at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424) at 10:15am to leave in procession at 10:30am or you can meet directly at the cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Shirley's honor to Hospice of Miami county.
