Shirley Foreman, a cherished soul and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 79. Born on February 1, 1946, in Spring City, Tennessee, Shirley's life was a testament to her quiet strength, dedication, and boundless love for her family and animals.

Shirley's career as a paramedic showcased her caring spirit and commitment to helping others. Her journey continued as she took on an important role at the Wright State University School of Emergency Medicine, where her passion for education and public service flourished. Throughout her life, she embodied the qualities of a true caregiver, making an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shirley held many passions that enriched her life. A devoted elder at Shiloh Church in Dayton, Ohio, she found joy in her faith and the community she shared with others. She loved traveling, golfing, and fishing, always seeking adventure and the beauty of nature. Her devotion to her beloved dogs was undeniable, as they were an integral part of her heart and home.

Shirley’s quiet and sweet demeanor endeared her to all who knew her. Her spirit radiated warmth and compassion, and she was known for being both loving and caring. Those fortunate enough to call her family and friends will remember not just her words, but her actions—generous, thoughtful gestures that reflected her character.

She leaves behind her beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Angie Foreman & Tony and Leslie Foreman, who were a source of pride and joy in her life. She treasured her grandchildren—Aaron, Ethan, Justine, Tyler, Mason, Cole, and Lillian—and took immense delight in her great-grandchildren, Aurora, Asher, and Alyas, whose laughter and lives brought her so much happiness. Shirley also nurtured many relationships with her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Among them were dear neighbors Wayne and Linda King, whose companionship enriched her daily life.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving parents, Carl and Opal Seivers, along with her brother, Eddie Seivers, and her dear sister, Sue Reid. Their memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who remain.

As we celebrate Shirley's life, let us remember the love she bestowed upon others and the peace she has now found. Her legacy of kindness and her unwavering love will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Her gentle spirit will be profoundly missed, yet her memory will live on in the stories shared by her family and friends, reminding us all of the beautiful soul she was.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
