Shirley A. Henry, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on November 7, 1934, in Oxford, Ohio, Shirley led a life filled with love, dedication, and compassion.

For over 25 years, Shirley enjoyed a successful career at Capital Dry Cleaning, where her work ethic and friendly demeanor were admired by all who knew her. She graduated from Talawanda High School, which laid the foundation for her long life of contributions both professionally and personally.

Shirley was a devoted family woman who cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, often taking on the role of the family babysitter. Her nurturing nature extended to her friends and neighbors, as she always sought to help others and make sure they had what they needed. Shirley was indeed one of the strongest and most loving women one could ever meet.

She is survived by her three sons, James O. (Cheri) Henry, Harold (Marijoy) Henry, and Darryl Henry; her daughter, Teresa L. Henry; two sisters, Gloria Arnold and Marian Ecton; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous other family members and friends, all of whom will miss her deeply.
