Sherry "Sissy" L. Haight

Sherry "Sissy" L. Haight, age 62 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026. She was born August 27, 1963 in Coshocton, Ohio. The daughter of the late Marion Haight and Delores Sarchet (Dunfee).

Sherry was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and looking for arrowheads. She had a passion doing ceramics, pottery, crafting, and woodworking. Sherry's pride and joy was her family and doting on her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Steven Perdue; and her beloved k9 furbaby, Scooter.

She is survived by her dad, Daniel Sarchet; siblings, Kevin (Tammy) Haight, Renee (Ronald) Parsons, and Nicole Perdue; a host of nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service to begin at 1:30pm with Pastor Alex Penn officiating. Burial to follow at Bethel West Cemetery.
