Sherry K. Jones

Sherry K. Jones, age 69 of Dayton, Ohio passed away at her residence on January 27, 2026. She was born December 15, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Bill and Mary Coleman.

Sherry was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She retired from Sinclair Community College as an educator, after 20 plus years of employment. She also retired as an Occupational Therapist after numerous years of commitment. Sherry was a devout Christian and life long member at Northridge Nazarene Church. Sherry had a passion for life, she loved to travel, dance, scrapbook, going to the pool and beach. She enjoyed planning and attending social events. Her pride and joy was her family, and spending as much time with them as she could. You could find her at any sporting event and or performances, watching her children and grandchildren. Sherry will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Jones; brothers, Alan Coleman and Jeff Coleman; brothers-in-law, Tommy Jones, Donnie Jones, Jerry Tomlinson, and Don Weiss; sister-in-law, Cecile Jones; nieces, Emma Coleman, Robin Haskins, and Jennifer Hill.

She is survived by her sons, Nathan (Selena) Jones and Nolan (Lisa) Jones; grandchildren, C.J., Scarlett, Stella, Brycen, Parker, and Lauren (Tommy); great grandchildren, Tommy II and Ellie; sister, Kathy Weiss; brother-in-law, Jimmy Jones; sisters-in-law, Pam Jones, Faye Tomlinson, Pat Coleman, several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
