Sherri L. Sanders

Sherri L. Sanders, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on November 14, 1958, Sherri was known for her loving nature, her big heart, and the kindness she shared with those close to her.

Sherri's love for her family was immeasurable. She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, William Sanders, who stood by her side through all of life’s journeys. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter and love. Her son, Joel Stith, and his wife Fawn, brought additional joy into Sherri's life, as did her cherished grandchildren, Hunter, age 13, and Grant, age 16. Sherri delighted in the time spent with her family, always making special moments when they gathered together.

She is also survived by her brothers, Greg and Bryan, and her best friend Lois. Sherri's family, along with a network of friends, will remember her for the way she embraced life with a smile and spread positivity to everyone around her.

Sherri was not just a devoted family member; she also found joy and solace in the great outdoors. The mountains called to her spirit, where she often felt a deep connection to nature. A lover of animals, her affection extended to her beloved cats, who filled her home with comfort and companionship.

Sherri now joins her parents, Clyde and Carlie Creekmore, and her step-son, Jordan Baker, who have predeceased her. Their memories will continue to live on through the love she fostered in her family and friends.

The legacy of Sherri L. Sanders endures in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She exemplified love, kindness, and joy, and her life serves as a reminder of the beautiful impact one person can have on the world around them. She will be deeply missed, cherished, and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, Ohio, with a service starting at 1:00pm. Following her services, Sherri will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
