Shelvia Jean Mitchell, 76, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on February 4, 2018. She was born on April 2, 1938 in Madison, W.Virginia to the late James and Alma (Halstead) Mays. Jean is survived by her children, James Mitchell and Diana L. Luneke. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service following at 11:00 am Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Newcomer (North Chapel) 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Burial will be private.
